May ’18 Newsletter
Challenge is good.
We are 4 weeks into the Quickstep & Rumba course with the Advanced Rumba routine proving to be very tricky. We will probably revisit this variation when we next teach the Rumba. Even if you haven’t been able to attend the course you are still welcome to the next Social Dances at Chilwell on Wednesday (30th) or Mapperley (31st). Only £7 each.
We have a Cha Cha workshop at Mapperley coming up on Sunday May 27th. It is a good chance to brush up on your basics before the course starts. The workshop is £7 each for a session.
Our Foxtrot and Cha Cha course starts on June 6th in Chilwell and June 7th in Mapperley. We will be teaching Social Foxtrot in the beginners class and Slow Foxtrot in the intermediates and advanced classes. Details below or check the website.
IDTA Medal Awards
On Sunday 13th we are entering some of our dancers in IDTA medals examinations. So the best of luck to those taking part.
