Medal Test Success
We entered a number of dancers for IDTA medal tests and obtained fantastic results. Well done for all your hard work. It was gratifying to be told by the examiner that she enjoyed watching our dancers.
On Sunday (28th May) we are running a Rumba Workshop at Mapperley Plains Social Club. This is always a good way to learn a new dance, recap on what you aleady know or to expand your repertoire. Details below or check the website.
Our next course is Quickstep and Rumba and starts on June 7th in Chilwell and June 8th in Mapperley. Details below or check the website.
The Afternoon Social Dance, run by Gedling Borough Council has been postponed and will now be starting on Thursday June 1st. It will be held in the impressive ballroom at The Richard Herrod Centre, Carlton. Dancing is from 2pm until 4pm so if you are available and would like some more dancing time then please join us.
Sunday 28th May at Mapperley Plains Social Club.
2.00pm: Basic, New Yorker and Spot Turn.
3.00pm: Ladies Underarm Turn followed by Hand to Hand.
4.00pm: Hip twist, Fan & Hockey Stick.
5.00pm: A more advanced variation.

A new seven week course starts on
Wednesday June 7th at Chilwell,
Thursday June 8th at Mapperley.
Beginners starts at 7.00pm
Followed by Intermediates
and Advanced classes at 7.45pm & 8.30pm.
